Journey Management Policy

In PETROFIX, the movement of personnel and materials is an essential aspect of our operations. We are dedicated to ensuring the safe execution of all land and water travel to meet safety standards.

To uphold this dedication, management will guarantee:

  • All trips must receive approval from authorized personnel.
  • All vehicle operators must be duly licensed, trained, and capable of operating the vehicles effectively.
  • Every vehicle operator must at least hold a National Driver's License. All operational marine vessels and vehicles should be suitable for their intended use and maintained in a safe condition.
  • Adherence to national laws and regulations regarding transportation.
  • Detailed assessment to ascertain if any portion of the route falls in sensitive security zones, and the possibility of wildlife or livestock wandering on the road.
  • Drivers are required to comply with company-mandated speed limits and designated travel routes.
  • All transport-related incidents and near misses will be investigated, and corrective actions will be taken without delay.
  • Establish and maintain systems to monitor vehicle movement during operations and periodic communication during stopovers on long routes.
  • Implement consequence management regarding transport safety practices.
  • Sufficient time been allowed to complete the journey within the required hours, at safe speeds and with appropriate rest breaks.

This policy is applicable to all activities conducted by the company and its contractors/subcontractors within our operational regions.
